Board Chair

Kunal Mahajan

Kunal Mahajan serves as Board Chair of Camp Words Unspoken. Before his position as Board Chair, Kunal was a camp counselor during the 2022 and 2023 summers.  As a life-long person who stutters, Kunal has been a strong believer of pushing people who stutter outside their comfort zones to develop self confidence.

Kunal is also the Founder and Director of Unique: A show about disabilities, an initiative to empower the disability community through improv and has studied Improv & Musical Improv since 2018. He believes in utilizing the improv art form to help underrepresented individuals build their confidence and find their voice and as a way to drive organizational cultural change. In addition to performing regularly, Kunal serves on the Board of Directors at Arcade Comedy Theater, home of Pittsburgh’s only non-profit comedy theater.

Professionally, Kunal worked in the financial services industry as a banker for 13 years before making a career transition into the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility space where he has worked in since 2019.
